Piperoid are creative handicrafts produced in Japan, paper pipes are assembled to produce 5 different robot characters. It is possible to show a wide range of expressions through little pose adjustments due to its movable joints.
Do you still remember how excited you were to make handicrafts when you were a child?  The process to create things with one’s own hands is always thrilling. Why don’t we, adults, enjoy such a sense of excitement, too? Piperoid has been launched in the hope to stimulate adults’creative minds and open the door to familiarity with handicrafts

A dashing robot with a giant’s strength. He is not a pushy guy but has a tendency to overreact to things and be blind to his surroundings when he is working very hard. So he might be sometimes seen as an annoying guy. He does his best to do everything even though it may be unnecessary. He tends to act before thinking carefully. As a result what he has done often turns out to be a waste and pointless. This is just among us but he is secretly addicted to something which does not fit in with his macho-like character.
Greedy eater and geekazoid. He is extremely lazy and stays home most of the time. He loves pizzas even though Piperoids do not need to eat. His favorite things to do are eating pizzas while watching TV and mumbling complaints on the couch. His cannon shaped hands are just imitation guns. He has a brutal side to his character but on the contrary he is afraid of small animals.
Intelligent. He likes keeping himself busy. He is not comfortable unless he is calculating something or using his organizer. To tell the truth he sometimes feels superior to his fellows. He sees himself as brilliant and loves himself. Therefore he prefers to be in a city rather than in the jungle. This is because in a city area there are millions of glass windows and doors in which he can check his good looking image.
A girl robot who yearns for love. Addicted to fortune-telling.She has a weakness for good-looking machines and robots; falls in love at once, makes a move on a guy, and ends up getting tired of him suddenly. Complicated enough, she always says “I want to be in love.†Her priority is neither function nor personality but appearance. She has very demanding conditions for her Mr. Perfect and never shows interest in her work mates. She dose not like her broad shoulders and is starting to do something we cannot tell to keep fit.
Gossipy and free-minded. He is talkative and gossipy. He gathers a variety of information by flying around the world. He suddenly shows up out of the sky, chats away about what he wants, and flies back home. This can be seen as a reconnaissance activity but his intention is 100% for his interest, so it is hard to say if this is his job or only a hobby. He is a wimp and he always, but we cannot say, while sleeps.
