The Turnaround Presents Grooveman Spot (JPN)
After a few rounds of negotiations The Turnaround comes at you this month with two of Japan's most valuable players.
On a break from recording his second album, Grooveman Spot hits Aotearoa on a rare international sojourn representing influential Tokyo record store/label/movement Jazzy Sport. Renowned as a solo producer and in Japan as beatmaker for homegrown hip-hop duo Enbull, Grooveman Spot is set to rock Auckland with his eclectic Far Eastern blend of hip-hop, soul, disco and house.
Joining him on tour will be Kenji Sakajiri from Osaka-based label Wonderful Noise, the Japanese home of New Zealand artists Electric Wire Hustle &
Julien Dyne.
Also performing live on the back of releasing there debut album will be Wellington's Electric Wire Hustle, plus your hosts for the evening Manuel Bundy, Submariner & Cian.
