The Circling Sun @ Ponsonby Social Club This Wednesday
With a new crew and fresh new sounds the Wednesday night Ponsonby Social Club jam session has been re-branded as The Circling Sun.
This Wednesday you are invited to the re-launch of the evening, with DJs Wendy Douglas and Truant warming up proceedings.
The Circling Sun is a jazz, funk, soul improv session with some of New Zealand's most exciting musicians:
Julien Dyne (drums), Daniel Ryland (guitar), Ben Turua (bass), Cam Allen (sax) and Isaac Aesili (percussion/trumpet). This is an old school jam session full of energy and passion and anything can happen.
