Each artist will paint a pair of trainers with their own bespoke artwork and for the month of August, Aucklanders can admire the footwear flair on display in Japanese Bar, Fukuko, and the Nike Britomart store.
Artists include:
Otiz Frizell
Billy Apple + Inhouse Design
Dean and Dan Sacred of Sacred Tattoo
Rainbow Monkey
Component & Trust Me of Cut Collective

The shoes will be auctioned off at the end of August with money raised going to Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, New Zealand’s only music therapy centre that works with children and young people with a wide range of special needs, including physical, intellectual, mental, developmental and behavioural.
Fukuko will host the launch party for the artists, friends and lucky fans and an auction will be held at the end of August for the public to bid on each pair of Nike trainers.
