In anticipation of her first Auckland show Low Leaf will be at Conch Records this Thursday night from 6pm. Come join us to check out her latest release "Akashaalay" as well as a DJ set.
Dub Temple Records in association with Cosmic Compositions and The Conscious Mic are honoured to present the first Australian and New Zealand tour of the visionary multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, producer and story-teller, LOW LEAF.
LOW LEAF will be bringing her dynamic multi-instrumented one woman live show to the East Coast of Australia and New Zealand in a 10 day tour starting on the 28th of May in Melbourne and finishing on the 7th of June in Auckland. Her live performances will incorporate electric harp, keys, beats, samples, effects and vocals into a spontaneous expression of her unique musical story. The tour will feature new music from Low Leaf’s new album AKASHAALAY released on April 29th through label Fresh Selects.
The tour includes performances at the Melbourne and Wellington Jazz Festivals and a double headliner show with Nai Palm of Melbourne's Hiatus Kaiyote. A roster of Dub Temple artists and accomplished LA MC Zeroh and NZ soulful vocalist Noah Slee, will be providing support along this ceremonious tour.

Hailing from LA with Filipino roots, LOW LEAF began her musical journey as a child with classical piano training which formed the foundation of her explorations into the harp, synths, voice, guitar and subsequently Hip Hop and Electronic music.
LOW LEAF is steeped in LA beat tradition and a prevailing psychedelic spirit of the West-Coast. Her music flows freely through many spaces, from love ballads to soulful 2-step, solo harp pieces to folk and of course beats to bass.
A central philosophy of universal oneness, threads its way through her creations, keeping true to the transcendental approach of artists such as Sun Ra, Carlos Nino, Pasta Groove, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Mia Doi Todd.
Having performed alongside Robert Glasper, Jose Gonzalez and Mark De-Clive Lowe in 2014 already, LOW LEAF is making her mark as a cutting edge live performer like no other.

Peanut Butter Wolf transforms dance-floors around the world. Holding a reputation as one of hip hop's best DJ's and crate-diggers, Wolf is a true visionary in his own right. Arcade and Robin Fernando are hyped to announce he'll be heading to Auckland for one eclectic show on July 26 at a fresh new Karangahape Road venue, Neck of the Woods.
Few records labels have the untouchable status enjoyed by West Coast institution Stones Throw, renowned for bringing the likes of Madlib, J Dilla, Aloe Blacc and Madvillian to the world. Peanut Butter Wolf is the genius behind the operation.
Wolf began his musical journey as producer for rap martyr Charizma, creating links in the Detroit, New York and LA rap communities that would catalyse his transformation into a game changing label boss. Over two decades Wolf has cemented his place in the hip hop pantheon while maintaining a grass roots dedication to the indie community and grass roots acts. Having toured with legends such as Snoop Dogg, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Odd Future and the Beastie Boys befit his status as a key link between hip hop's past and its future.
Wolf's live show is a unique blend of audio and visual elements, creating his own take on the grand narrative of modern music and culture; whether it be Frank Zappa, Mr T or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wolf crafts a seamless mix of genre that crosses a broad spectrum of tastes.
