Two New Local Vinyl Releases from Wonderful Noise
We recently received two local releases on vinyl from Julien Dyne & Funkommunity, more details below:
2. Never Fading
The 24th release from Japanese label Wonderful Noise is LTD 7inch from New Zealand's fantastic Nu Soul project Funkommuity! Funkommuity is New Zealand's Nu Soul project by NZ Female singer/songwriter Rachel Fraser (well known as vocal performing for the track "Catch A Leaf" on Recloose's 2008 album "Perfect Timing") and Isaac Aesilli, well known as trumpet player of Recloose Live Band, Opensouls and his Karlmarx Project (Melting Pot/Brownswood). "Dandilion" is a mellow Nu Soul number featuring great harmony with Rachel's vocal and atmospheric keys and soulful sampling on laid-back beats! "Never Fading" is like Fatima's style of moody vocal number. Starting with tight and solid beats with an organic mixture of guitar and keys and samples. Available Here
