Australia might not be the first country one would think of when looking for authentic and classic hip-hop sounds but Producer Ta-Ku definitely proofs us wrong. Not only in his Home country Australia but all around the globe Ta-Ku´s mix of smooth boom-bap and future sound create an authentic and well received vibe. The former student of Red Bull Music Academy has been dropping numerous Records and has received positive feedback from day one. Currently more then 25.000 ppl follow him on facebook, nearly 50.000 on soundcloud. Several well known Producers such as Gas Lamp Killer, Salva and Baauer, just to name a few, co-signed the Beatmaker out of Perth, he just did his first Boiler Room session, but it seems like all the positive feedback he has received so far only makes his strive for perfection grow.
Influenced by names like J.Dilla and Dwele, Ta-Ku´s sound remains original and displays his love for real hip-hop however what makes this cat special is his variety. Ta-Ku doesnt only understand to create the spirit of golden era hiphop but also makes you vibe to his own interpretation of Popstars such as Justin Timberlake for instance. His talent and skills allow him to operate in nearly every genre and he still manages it to create an authentic sound that everyone can relate to. This rare combination creates the impression that we have yet to see the full force of Ta-Ku´s musical craft.
